More than 300 river cruise ships are operating
in Europe and sailing the various rivers.
To allow safe sailing operations a skilled crew is required to work on board.
Navigating locks, mooring operation of the vessel, operating the gangway, sanding and painting the vessel,
daily maintenance amd cleaning of the vessel, asssisting the Captain in taking care of safety and the
performance of regulations stipulated by law and various more include the daily task of a sailor.
To be able to work on board a river cruise ship in a job role as a Sailor you need to bring with you the following qualifications and epxeriences:
- Rhine Sailor Qualification
- Experience in the same position aboard a passenger vessel
- Good command of English and/ or German language
